Aditi Dhingra, Designer

Aditi Dhingra is a multidisciplinary designer with a background in interior, furniture, and lighting. Her journey into lighting began with photography and set design, where she became fascinated by how light can shape a space and tell a story.

Before moving to New York, Aditi led the design team at Iqrup + Ritz in India, ran her own design practice, and taught design at Pearl Academy and GD Goenka University. She later earned her Master’s in Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, graduating with academic and departmental honors.

Her work explores light as a tool to shape atmosphere, emotion, and spatial experience. She is especially drawn to theater, where light becomes an integral part of storytelling. Her approach to lighting is rooted in curiosity, observation, and a constant desire to notice how light shapes the world around us.
